Thomson Fly

This is the ONLY operator that we are aware of that WILL allow unaccompanied 14 & 15 year olds fly to and from Fuerteventura. They must be experiencecd travellers and parents or guardians are asked to remain at the airport until their departure and likewise, they should be met upon their arrival. When you search on the website, some flights are NOT Thomson Fly aircraft they MUST have the prefix TOM. They do recommend that you telephone prior to booking to ensure that children can fly on any particular flight.

Amigo Flights

We often use this site ourselves since it can offer the least expensive tickets, but you need to be able to spend a little longer travelling since the flights are via mainland Spain. Depending on when you fly, there are some bargains to be had since the options include using Easyjet and Spanair. If you have 'Residencia' then the flight to and from mainland is half price...you fill in the appropriate details when booking and the price is adjusted accordingly.

The Buying Process

Once you have decided on the property you wish to purchase, the next step is for you to make contact with a Solicitor, and we can accompany you if you wish. Your Solicitor will guide you throughout the process. You will need to make a reservation deposit, by Bank Transfer if necessary, open a Bank Account and obtain an NIE Number (this registers you here). All of this can be arranged to be done with your Solicitor.

You can, of course, choose your own Solicitor, or use our preferred options who have been selected by a consensus of referrals from associates here, and from our own experience.

If you are unable to be in Fuerteventura to sign documentation and attend the Notary for Passport Certification, Purchase completion or Deed Registration, assigning a Power of Attourney to the Solicitor (for these specific issues), is usually the best way.
